Ved Lahoti from Delhi zone secures top rank

A total of 48,248 candidates have qualified the exam for admission to IITs out of which 7,964 are female.

The Joint Entrance Exam (JEE)-Advanced results were announced Sunday morning, with Ved Lahoti from IIT Delhi zone bagging the top rank by securing 355 out of 360 marks.

To check the results, students can log in with their details on https://jeeadv.ac.in/.

A total of 48,248 candidates have qualified the exam for admission to IITs out of which 7,964 are female.

According to IIT Madras, which conducted the exam this time, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of IIT Bombay zone is the top-ranked female candidate with 322 out of 360 marks. Her all India rank is 7.

Other candidates in the top 10 are: Aditya (IIT Delhi zone), Bhogalpalli Sandesh (IIT Madras zone), Rhythm Kedia (IIT Roorkee zone), Putti Kushal Kumar (IIT Madras), Rajdeep Mishra (IIT Bombay zone), Koduri Tejeswar (IIT Madras zone), Dhruvi Hemant Doshi (IIT Bombay zone), and Alladabona SSDB Sidhvik Suhas (IIT Madras zone).

JEE-Main, which is the admission test for engineering colleges across the country, is the qualifying exam for JEE-Advanced.

JEE Advanced 2024 Result: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has declared the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Advanced 2024 results today, June 9. Candidates who appeared for the examination can check their results from the official website at jeeadv.ac.in.

The JEE Advanced 2024 exam was held on May 26. It consisted of two parts: Paper 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) will release the final answer key along with the results.

Following the results announcement, the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will conduct the centralized counseling process for admissions to IITs, NITs, and other premier engineering institutes based on JEE Advanced ranks. Registration for JoSAA 2024 will begin on June 10.

How to check JEE Advanced Result 2024?

1. Visit the official JEE Advanced website at jeeadv.ac.in

2. On the homepage, click the "JEE Advanced 2024 Result" link.

3. You will be redirected to a new website, enter your registration details, and click on the submit button.

4. Your JEE Advanced 2024 result will be displayed on the screen.

5. Download and take a printout of your JEE Advanced results 2024 for future reference.

In 2023, a total of 1,80,372 candidates participated in both Papers 1 and 2 of the JEE Advanced examination. Of these participants, 43,773 successfully met the qualifying criteria for the JEE Advanced.

Those who participated in the exam can check their scorecards for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.

The result includes the candidate's marks, the Common Rank List (CRL), and the Category Rank List. The IIT entrance exam took place on May 26, 2024, in two sessions across various centers nationwide. The answer key was published on June 2. Only the top 2.5 lakh JEE Main 2024 students are eligible to take the JEE Advanced. This year, the cut-off marks for JEE Advanced increased. The minimum cut-off for general category candidates in JEE Main 2024 was 93.2 percentile, compared to 90.7 in 2023 and 88.4 in 2022.

JoSAA Counselling

Following the JEE Advanced 2024 results announcement, qualified candidates must participate in the online Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counseling for admission consideration to premier Indian engineering institutions, including IITs, NITs, IIITs, and over 118 participating institutes.
